Intro: Manicuring Practicum

Catalog description

This course provides the theoretical and practical components related to manicuring, pedicuring, tip application, fabric wrap application, acrylic application, consultation, UV gel applications, nail art and electric filing. Students observe and practice the practical applications on artificial nails, classmates and models. Students must complete NAILS-340 prior to taking NAILS-342 or students can take NAILS-340, NAILS-342 and NAILS-343 in conjunction, or have equivalent coursework. This course includes some online assignments and tests in preparation for the online state board exam. NAILS-342 kit purchased from the MATC Bookstore at the start of the semester.
