Catalog description

Performance Techniques 1 is designed for highly motivated music majors and advanced students who have achieved technical and musical proficiency on their primary instrument or voice. It functions as a studio class or workshop rehearsal where students receive intensive coaching and feedback on a variety of challenging solo and ensemble repertoire. The class focuses on refining artistic interpretation, enhancing stage presence, developing advanced technical mastery, and fostering critical analytical skills through peer review and instructor guidance. Prerequisite(s): Complete MUSIC-163.
