Ear Training 2

Catalog description

This course is the second in a sequence of aural skills development, building upon the foundational concepts introduced in MUSIC-174 Ear Training 1. The primary focus shifts from a purely diatonic framework to incorporate the complexities of minor keys, expanded harmonic vocabulary and more intricate rhythmic patterns. Students will continue to refine their ability to translate musical sounds into notation and vice versa, enhancing their overall musicianship, improvisation and analytical skills.
