Catalog description

This intermediate course expands upon the foundational skills developed in Composition 1. Students will engage with more sophisticated compositional techniques, explore a wider array of timbral possibilities, and develop a more personal and refined compositional voice. The course emphasizes writing for specific instrumental ensembles and integrating advanced harmony and form into larger musical structures. Prerequisite(s): Complete MUSIC-152.
