Catalog description

This course is a continuation of Songwriting I. Students will hone the art and craft of songwriting and will develop a more sophisticated approach to writing lyrics, melody, harmony and form. The process of song arrangement will be discussed and emphasized in more detail in this second part of the course. The challenge of writing songs in various genres and for specific commercial purposes will be explored. Prerequisite(s): Complete MUSIC-107. MUSIC
