Catalog description

Statics is the study of forces on and in structures that are at rest. Forces, vectors, resultants, moments, couples, equilibrium, free-body diagrams, friction, centroids and centers of gravity, and shear and moment diagrams are covered. Prerequisite(s): Complete MATH-116 or MATH-202, CIVIL-102, and MCDESG-114.
