Catalog description
This course is a continuation of MACHTL-360 Metrology. The level of precision is increased as more precise instruments and methods of inspection are taught. Gage blocks, the optical comparator, dial bore gages and the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) are just some of the advanced pieces of equipment that are introduced. The basic concept of statistical process control (SPC) is also presented.
