Mobile Devices Forensics

Catalog description

In this course, students will learn the history and evolution of mobile forensics, understand the cellular network and components, and learn the legal aspects in obtaining cellular evidence. Also the class will cover imaging mobile devices, understanding cellular records and its use in cellular evidence. Students will learn the ability to utilize forensics tools to conduct analysis of mobile devices in addition to being able to create an evidence case report.
