Catalog description

This course covers firewall configuration and management, VPN solutions, configuration and management of IDS/IPS, log monitoring, consolidation and reporting. Designing secure network architectures as part of a broader definition of perimeter is also covered. Labs utilize a variety of equipment and software from a number of different vendors. MATC strongly recommends that students complete ITSEC-124, or have the equivalent knowledge, prior to enrollment in this course.
