Black Women This course provides a reflection of women’s social, economic and legal status both past and present. The course analyzes and evaluates literature written by and about Black women with the goal of focusing our critical energy on recovering “her-story” as well as attaining keener insights into the important role of these women in both historical and contemporary life.
