Paramedic Clinical/Field 2

Catalog description

This course provides the student with the opportunity to enhance his or her learning through the practice of paramedicine in field and healthcare environment experiences with actual patients under the supervision of instructors or approved preceptors. Students may also have the opportunity to participate in formal high-fidelity human patient simulator experiences as a part of this course. Successful completion of this course requires the student to meet all clinical and field competency requirements at the paramedic level as defined by WI DHS EMS. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic program (31-531-1) or the Paramedic Technician program (10-531-1). Completion of or currently enrolled in EMS-919.
