Paramedic Trauma

Catalog description

This course teaches the paramedic student to integrate assessment findings with principles of anatomy, physiology, epidemiology and pathophysiology to formulate a field impression and implement a comprehensive treatment plan for an acutely injured patient. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic program (31-531-1) or the Paramedic Technician program (10-531-1). Completion of or currently enrolled in EMS-916 and EMS-919.
