Paramedic Cardiology

Catalog description

This course teaches the paramedic student to integrate assessment findings with principles of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, epidemiology and pathophysiology to formulate a field impression and implement a comprehensive treatment plan for a patient with a cardiovascular complaint. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic program (31-513-1) or the Paramedic Technician program (10-531-1). Completion of or currently enrolled in EMS-915.
