Catalog description

This course is a practical approach to construction/repair of electronic equipment. Topics include shop safety, soldering techniques including SMDs, connectors, fasteners, ESD control, use of hand and power tools, PC board layout, schematic interpretation, and industrial/ military standards. The course includes projects in which theories of topics are applied.
