Introduction to Teaching

Catalog description

This course is intended for students who wish to pursue a degree in education at a four-year college. The course introduces students to the profession of education and the roles of teachers. It provides an understanding of the context in which education is delivered in culturally pluralistic settings and an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the interpersonal, observational and organizational skills that underlie teaching.
