Catalog description

Prepares Dental Hygiene students to apply detailed knowledge about oral anatomy to planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of patient care. Students identify distinguishing characteristics of normal and abnormal dental, head and neck anatomy, and its relationship to tooth development, eruption and health. Prerequisite(s): Complete BIOSCI-177, CHEM-186 and BIOSCI-197 with a minimum grade of B- or higher. Complete DENHYG-101. Completion of or currently enrolled in DENHYG-105.
