Media Design Elements

Catalog description

An introductory digital media and TV graphics and design course. Students become familiar with the hardware, software, design and workflow associated with graphics for video storytelling. Utilizing various Adobe Creative Cloud applications, character generators such as Chyron and other video graphics tools, students explore the creation of graphic elements for video such as lower-thirds, full screen graphics, layouts for multiplatform delivery methods assembling a graphic toolkit for their video- based stories. Prerequisite(s): Completion of or currently enrolled in TV-101 and DCC-150.
