Invasive CVT Fundamentals 1

Catalog description

Students are introduced to the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The various pieces of equipment and specific diagnostic and interventional procedures are presented. The student will learn the typical daily duties of an invasive cardiovascular technologist through didactic and laboratory instruction. Competencies will be demonstrated through written examinations, verbal explanations and demonstrations of clinical technique.
