General Chemistry

Catalog description

This course provides a foundation in general inorganic chemistry in preparation for a second semester of organic and biochemistry. Specific topics include dimensional analysis, atomic structure, periodic table and properties of elements, compounds, solutions, acids/ bases, reactions and equilibrium, oxidation/ reduction, and introduction to organic chemistry.
