Catalog description

Application Students explore the content of the electronic health record through a variety of administrative applications including those related to collection of patient data, documentation, scheduling, coding, insurance claim creation and billing. Medico legal, ethical and professional use of the protected health information in the electronic health record is addressed. Prerequisite(s): Complete BRHLTH-135. Completion of or currently enrolled in BRHLTH-170.
