Applied Nutrition is a three-credit nutrition class for future health professionals or students who would like to get more education in nutrition and how it affects our health. Topics discussed will include life cycle nutrition and how diet affects the physiology of the body, metabolism, weight management, and food choices and the development of chronic diseases (diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, etc.).
