Catalog description

This course covers the history of infectious diseases and their impact on human society, as well as how human activities have contributed to infectious disease outbreaks. It also examines the potential future impact of infectious diseases. Topics to be covered include historical diseases, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, and biological weapons. Prerequisite(s): Complete ENG-195 or ENG-201 (with grade of C or higher) or a satisfactory MATC placement test score.
