Catalog description

A general study will be discussed to interpret areas related to statistics in the business world. Topics include the interpretation and construction of statistical tables and charts, finding the best estimator of a population (including central values and measures of dispersion), normal distributions, sampling, hypothesis test, probabilities, Six Sigma concepts utilized in quality control, and linear regression and correlations. The use of statistical software to facilitate will be discussed.
