Senior Field Practicum I

Catalog description

An intermediate experience in an agency serving individuals, families, and/or communities. Students are supervised by the course instructor and a field instructor and receive feedback on the Social Work Education Competencies. SOWK 491A is to be arranged with the Field Education Director prior to beginning the field experience. A minimum of 135 hours of supervised experience is required. The course is structured for students majoring in Social Work. Prerequisites: SOWK 391 and SOWK 380. Co-requisite: SOWK 450A. Offered every term. Three semester hours.
