Catalog description

An introduction to sustainability. This course introduces the principles of sustainability and provides a general understanding of key sustainability topics, including the history of the sustainability movement, energy poverty, natural resources, and sustainability in buildings and transportation. This course targets some of the most important issues that humans are facing today. It is designed to provide a foundational knowledge of the vocabulary, concepts, and principles in the field of sustainability. Offered spring term odd years. Three semester hours.
