Catalog description
This course is the third of three courses designed to develop a logical way for students to assess disease processes and disorders. Students will master the ability to develop a differential diagnosis based on a patient’s presenting complaints, signs, and symptoms. Students will also develop an understanding of appropriate uses for diagnostic testing including clinical laboratory, radiographic, EKG testing, and other diagnostic testing or imaging studies that may be appropriate in the diagnosis and management of a patient. Offered spring term each year. Two semester hours.
