Catalog description

An application of psychosocial, physical, cognitive and sensoriperceptual components of occupational therapy through practical, community based experiential learning. Students will work within community-based settings to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the many factors that impact individuals, groups and populations in all parts of the occupational therapy process (assessment, intervention, outcomes). Additional development of group leadership skills and targeted protocol design will be emphasized. Prerequisite: OT 631. Offered spring term each year. Four semester hours.
