Catalog description
The study of typical development and participation in occupations of infants, children, and adults. An emphasis will be placed on observation and interview skills in the context of the environment. Students will examine and analyze clients’ participation in occupations and roles with consideration of sociocultural, socioeconomic, and diversity factors. Relevant developmental theories and frames of reference for use in OT practice will be introduced. Offered fall term each year. Three semester hours.
