Nursing in Community Health Systems Clinical

Catalog description

A clinical practicum experience that provides students opportunities to practice the role of the community health nurse within the current public health care delivery system. Students are also assigned to work with a variety of at-risk aggregate population groups within the community in order to assess their health needs, and design and implement appropriate independent and collaborative nursing interventions. Co-requisite: NURS 422.. Offered spring term each year. Two semester hours; six clock hours.
