A course to assist students who experience challenges with meeting didactic and/or clinical nursing course outcomes. Opportunities for growth in clinical practice, use of NCLEX-RN test taking strategies and professional behavior based on individual student needs are emphasized. Required of all students earning a grade of C- or lower, W, WP, or WF in a 300-level nursing course required for the BSN degree. The student must enroll each semester (excluding summer) until eligible to reenter the nursing curriculum sequence. Offered fall and spring term each year. Three semester hours NURS 393. Clinical Success – The purpose of this course is to assist students who experience challenges with meeting didactic and/or clinical nursing course outcomes. Required of all students earning a grade of C- or lower, W, WP, or WFin a 300-level nursing course required for the BSN degree. The student must enroll each semester (excluding summer) after successful completion of NURS 392, until eligible to re-enter the nursing curriculum sequence. Offered fall and spring term each year. Three semester hours. All required 300 level nursing courses must be completed before a pre-licensure or LPN to RN student may enroll in 400 level nursing courses with the exception of nursing electives with instructor permission.
