Catalog description

Supervised preceptorship in various agencies allowing the student additional reflection and evaluation of clinical practice. Pre/co-requisites: NURS 210/210L. Offered every term, including summer terms. One to four semester hours. NURS 292: Test Taking Strategies and Clinical Success - A course to assist students who experience challenges with meeting didactic and/or clinical nursing course outcomes. Opportunities for growth in clinical practice, use of NCLEX-RN test taking strategies and professional behavior based on individual student needs are emphasized. Required of all students earning a grade of C- or lower, W, WP, or WF in a 200-level nursing course required for the BSN degree. The student must enroll each semester (excluding summer) until eligible to reenter the nursing curriculum sequence. Offered fall and spring terms each year. Three semester hours
