Fundamentals of Nursing II Clinical

Catalog description

A continuation of NURS 210C with the focus on giving students opportunities to test and use the nursing process as a critical thinking and problem-solving tool to provide holistic nursing care. Opportunities to develop additional competencies in selected beginning nursing interventions are also provided within the clinical practice setting. Co-requisite: NURS 220. Offered spring term each year. One semester hour; three clock hours. NURS 240: Dosage Calculations for Nursing Practice - An introduction to the principles of dosage calculations for nursing practice. Concentration is on the utilization of dimensional analysis for all types of dosage calculation problems and extensive practice in computing dosage calculations. Pre/Co- requisite: NURS 210/210L. Offered every term. One semester hour.
