Curriculum and Methods for Elementary Music

Catalog description

A study of the philosophy, curriculum, methods, and materials of teaching music to children including studies of the child’s musical development (grades PreK-5). This course also requires field experience during the first two weeks of a secondary school’s fall semester in order to satisfy Tennessee licensure requirements. Offered fall term odd years. Three semester hours.
