Catalog description

A survey of the construction and development of mathematical models used in science and industry. The mathematics developed contributes to an understanding of the model as well as the associated scientific problem that is approximate. Prerequisites: C- or better in MATH 307 and 309. Offered spring term even years. Three semester hours.
