Catalog description
A study of axiomatic systems, logic, and Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometries from an historical viewpoint. Euclidean incidence, betweenness, congruence, and separation are studied along with models for non-Euclidean geometries and their impact on mathematical thought. Prerequisite: C- or better in MATH 301. Offered fall term even years. Three semester hours.
