Catalog description
Students will develop and practice skills and habits of thinking that are essential for journalism and nonfiction in all its forms, including interviewing, the use of documents, observation, and opportunities to report in specialty areas (“beats”). Prerequisite: COMM 105 or JOUR 205. Offered fall term even years. Three semester hours.
