Reporting and Writing for the Public

An introduction to and practice in the fundamentals of journalistic reporting and writing for variety of print, online, and broadcast media. The course focuses on story development, research and interviewing techniques, writing styles for various media, and legal and ethical matters. Three semester hours. Offered fall term even years or as needed.
