Introduction to Honors

Catalog description

a course designed to orient students to the Honors Program and to hone the skills necessary for its successful completion. This course 1) strengthens vital skills in reading, writing, research, and dialogue, 2) provides background information and exercises related to preparing students for the diverse requirements of the Honors Program, 3) develops a strong sense of community among the incoming cohort of Honors students, and 4) encourages the appreciation of a liberal arts education as well as the integration of faith, learning, and service. Offered fall term each year. One semester hour.
