Catalog description

A survey of the causes, course, and consequences of the Second World War in Europe. The course will concentrate on political, diplomatic, and military events and developments, with additional attention given to socio-economic factors as well as moral and religious issues (such as anti-Nazi resistance, the Shoah/Holocaust, and the use of atomic weapons). Offered occasionally. Three semester hours.
