Catalog description

A course that details the history of visual communication from prehistoric times to the digital age. The course examines innovations in technology and communication as well as artistic and stylistic movements and their lasting impact on the field. Content will also focus on specific designers, their work, and their historical influence. Offered fall term each year. Three semester hours.
