Catalog description

A survey of international non-fiction filmmaking from the silent period to the present, with a focus on individual documentary films, documentary filmmakers, documentary movements, and documentary genres. Class screenings will introduce students to important and relevant examples of nonfiction cinema. Cross- listed as HIST 372. Offered spring term even years. Three semester hours.
