Catalog description

Preparation, training, and practice in the skills of outdoor recreational activities. The course focuses on the following experiential activities: camping, hiking, caving, kayaking, flora identification, and orienteering. Classroom preparation culminates in a weekend outing. Special fee. Offered fall term each year. Two semester hours.
