Catalog description

Review of engineering fundamentals and electrical engineering discipline specific topics to prepare for the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination. Subject areas to be covered are as follows: mathematics and statistics, ethics and economics, properties of electrical materials, circuit analysis, linear systems, signal processing, electronics, power systems, electromagnetics, control systems, communications, computer networks, digital systems, computer systems, and software engineering. Prerequisite: co-requisite with EENG 481. Offered fall term each year. One semester hour.
