Exploration of the theory of operation of discrete semiconductor devices and the design of circuits using these devices, including diodes, BJT and FET transistors, and integrated circuits. Laboratory sessions are held on alternate weeks. Prerequisite: EENG 301. Offered spring term each year. Three semester hours.
