Catalog description

An in-depth analysis of examining the role of Window Servers in industry with a focus on system administration in an enterprise environment. Topics include power shell administration, virtualization, remote access management, active directory, account management, SAN (Storage Area Network) storage, printing, RAID (Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks), cloud technologies, Linux containers, security, system hardening, DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), and troubleshooting. Prerequisite CS 320. Offered spring term each year. Three credit hours.
