Introduction to College and Service

Catalog description

An introduction to the skills and attitudes needed to succeed in college, particularly for students called to work in visual or media arts. These include an appreciation of oneself; one’s skills and talents; others and their skills and talents; management of resources such as talents, time and money; and an awareness of the history and culture of Milligan. Required of first-time freshmen in the following majors during their first semester of attendance: Art, Film, Graphic Design, Journalism, and Theatre Ars. Offered fall semester each year. One semester hour.
