Fundamentals of Worship Ministry

Catalog description

This course explores the essential components of a healthy and sustainable worship ministry within a church context. Students will engage with methods of corporate worship while examining both historical traditions and contemporary developments. Special attention will be given to team development, leadership dynamics, and the spiritual formation of worship leaders. Students will also receive a basic introduction to worship technology, including ProPresenter, Planning Center, and sound and light design. Through practical application and critical reflection, students will develop skills to help cultivate biblically grounded and contextually relevant worship services. Offered fall term each year. Three semester hours.
