A study of gene structure and the regulation of gene expression at transcriptional and translational levels with an emphasis on modern experimental techniques. Prerequisite: BIOL 310 and consent of the instructor. Offered spring term odd years. Three hours lecture and one three-hour lab weekly. Four semester hours.
