Catalog description
This course is designed to equip MBA students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and drive innovation within organizations while effectively managing change. The course will focus on the principles and practices of innovation, including identifying opportunities for innovation, fostering a culture of creativity, and implementing innovative solutions. Students will also learn how to navigate organizational change by exploring change management strategies, understanding resistance to change, and developing effective communication techniques to facilitate successful transitions. Through case studies, real-world examples, and group projects, students will have the opportunity to apply their learning to practical situations and develop their capabilities as transformative leaders. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to lead innovation initiatives, drive organizational change, and inspire their teams to adapt to and thrive in dynamic business environments. The course is an integral part of the transformative leadership track in the MBA program, providing students with essential skills and knowledge to excel as future leaders in the ever-evolving business landscape. Offered Fall II. Three semester hours.
