Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles and practices related to the sourcing, recruitment, selection, and management of talent within organizations. The course will cover various topics including talent acquisition strategies, recruitment methods, talent assessment techniques, and talent management strategies. Students will learn how to effectively identify and attract top talent, build diverse talent pipelines, create engaging candidate experiences, and utilize technology and data analytics in talent sourcing and management. The course will also examine best practices in onboarding, performance management, and succession planning to nurture and retain talent within the organization. By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively source, recruit, select, and manage talent to support organizational goals and enhance overall performance and success. Offered Summer I. Three semester hours.
